Bongolesian News Update!

National Interior Spokesman dies in auto accident

Spokesman on his way to traffic safety meeting when he meets ugly bloody fate that makes him shake off his mortal coil…

(Sudekia): Bongolesian Interior Ministry confirmed today that National Interior Spokesman Bogoo Moboo was killed last night, along with his driver in a one vehicle automobile accident outside of Lonnieville.
While official information remains sketchy at best, and the investigation is still underway by National Police, witnesses that were later found to be at the scene, confirmed that Mr. Moboo’s automobile was traveling at a higher rate of speed than normal, and it seems that either mechanical difficulty, or poor vehicle handling on the part of the driver caused the accident.
Witnesses say that the car “rolled, bounced, be-bopped and burst into flames”.
Emergency services arrived too late to the scene to be of any use to anyone, as it was obvious that both driver and spokesman Moboo had met their maker.
“Many people saw the smoke and came out and saw the car burn.” Said a Lonnieville citizen.
While there is no official statement coming from the Presidential Palace and his Excellency, President-For-Life P’hat Daddee B’wonah, unofficial word is that there will be a small, low-key state funeral for Mr. Moboo and his driver sometime this week.
Details are pending and will be released soon…
